Emilia Smaragdina

Emilia is a multi-disciplinary artist currently residing in Krakow, Poland. Having been active as a creator of sketches, paintings, and other forms of art at a young age, art has been an important part of her life.

To Emilia, art is a doorway or a portal through which humans can convey emotions from one person to another. In this way, art can be a way of communicating deeper emotions and thoughts we don’t always discuss in daily life. Art is supposed to be a statement or an experience and thus Emilia embraces often visceral and bold themes in her art.
