Tattooing

Tattoos are a deeply personal statement or commitment for most people. Perhaps you have a vision of what you would like to have drawn and rendered on your skin for the duration of your time on this earth. Emilia loves to help people realize their vision to the fullest extent. To that end, her approach revolves around helping you out with the conceptualization of the tattoo, as well as the application process.

Conceptualization of the tattoo: the iterative process

Emilia, being a multi-disciplinary artist can help you make mock-ups and visualizations of the final product that will be put on your skin. In this way there is an iterative process that will help you, realize the best possible outcome, truly realizing your vision of this oh-so-important expression.

The process: Meet and greet to discuss you’re tattoo conception

An online meeting where you can explain what you are looking for in this tattoo concept will be the first step. Emilia can help you define & refine the concept and work on you to get the broad strokes of this idea in a tangible format. After this, she will have a good idea of what it is you are looking for and she can get to work. during this process, you can also supply reference material.

The first draft of the tattoo concept

After receiving your input and discussing it with you Emilia will go to work and produce the first iteration of the tattoo. This will be a digital file that can be changed and altered later if there is a need for some fine-tuning

Iterations on the concept

Upon completion of this first draft, you will receive this file. And there is a second round for finalization if necessary.

Completion and delivery

Upon completing the design you will get it sent home in a nice printable format, because why have it only on your skin if you can also put it on the wall? The choice then remains if you would like to have Emilia put the tattoo on your skin, or you will find a local artist to do the application.

Application of the tattoo: getting the best result

One thing to keep in mind is the skin type and inks used. Emilia studied as a professional physiotherapist and is intimately familiar with skin types, texture, and the body in general. this is a great boon when working with the human body as your canvas. It allows her to gauge what would work the best, as well as know some tips and tricks to manage pain levels during a tattooing session

The right ink for the canvas: coloration and health aspects

There are many types of inks, all with a unique advantage and or application. Emilia is quite at home in the health aspects and color aspects of the ink so she can help you guide you through the process of choosing the right ink for your body.
